Norval Hensley

After a 30 year public school teaching career in Buncombe County, Norval retired and entered a second career in real estate in 2001. He is a highly accomplished agent and has been a consistent top producer every year since starting his real estate career. He has received the distinguished Agent of the Year award for the office and for the company numerous times.

The vast array of professional experience obtained over the years has made Norval uniquely qualified in the buying and selling of commercial, residential, and raw land real estate. By being a lifelong resident of Western North Carolina, Norval intimately knows all the surrounding mountain counties. This knowledge is a great asset to his clients.

Being a successful realtor has been a natural fit for Norval for several reasons. He loves helping people and he loves being out and about in the great outdoors. When he isn't showing properties or writing offers, he is hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, gardening, or off-road ATV-ing. He is also very active in his church and community, both locally and globally. In the past decade, he had made over 16 trips to River of Peru, Colombia, and Brazil.

He and his wife Elaine have two daughters, a son in law, and two fur baby grandchildren. They enjoy living in the country on the North side of Asheville.
